通常而言,Procurement的概念包括:Planning,Sourcing & Purchasing.
大家知道,目前SupplyChain是很热门的话题,各大咨询公司都在纷纷建立SupplyChain的专业咨询团队。SupplyChain Management必将在国内成为继SAP以后最热门的话题。

Description of team
Our Performance Improvement team helps clients improve the cost, effectiveness and efficiency of their operations. This solutions-based service helps clients solve a diverse set of operational issues by utilizing our deep understanding of finance, risk management/compliance, IT systems, operations and human resources. The unique resources contained within the practice have proven expertise and provide a hands-on approach to business problems - and can be deployed rapidly to address crisis-based issues.
The supply chain practice within the PI group is focused on delivering such expertise for both multinational and local clients in the areas of supply chain strategy and process improvement.
Duties and responsibilities Due to growing need of supply chain service, we are now recruiting a Manager/Senior manager with strong procurement background.
The Manager/Senior Manager will be expected to
- Lead procurement business development and project execution with domestic prospects and clients, mainly large SOEs and private entities with requirements to improve procurement operations.
- Manage or support sourcing and procurement projects with multi-national clients on as required basis
- Assist PI leaders to develop organization capabilities.
- Coach associates within the practice.
Skills and qualifications required The ideal candidates will have some or all of the following capabilities:
• 5-10 years’ experience in execution and/or re-engineering of supply chain operations with a strong focus in procurement.
• Considerable expertise in procurement performance assessment, transformation/re-engineering, and change management, derived from working with world-class procurement organisations in senior practitioner or managing consultant’s capacity
• Knowledge and ability to appreciate domestic clients’ business environment and operating characteristics. Ability to assess and adapt world-class procurement operating models and tactics to specific client situations.
• Ability to develop business case and value proposition for both SOEs and private entities.
• Good knowledge of mainstream procurement information system capabilities; Ability to assess and make appropriate recommendations
• Experience with a diversity of industries and commodities yet with considerable exposure to indirect and MRO procurement
• Experience with major international consulting companies preferable
• Familiar with other areas of supply chain management including production, logistics and cost management a plus
• Supply Chain Management related masters degree or MBA and/or relevant professional qualifications;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin;

- A consulting mindset and experience;
- The ability to work directly with senior management and employees throughout client organizations;
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving capabilities;
- A proven ability to translate client objectives into deliverable design, and develop deliverables that address complex situations;
- Group facilitation and presentation skills;
- Multi-national and cross border project experience a plus;
- Demonstrated management skills, including the ability to train and develop staff, manage project budgets, and develop strong client relationships;

Skills and qualifications required The ideal candidates will have some or all of the following capabilities:
• 5-8 years’ experience in execution and/or re-engineering of supply chain operations with a strong focus in sales and operations planning, preferably with strategic management exposure
• Keen understanding of critical business processes and drivers for achieving effective and accountable demand and supply planning and consequently superior on-time delivery and inventory target attainment
• Understanding of organizational implications of a rigorous sales and operations planning process. These include accountability models and performance measurement mechanisms that are necessary for sustaining effective S&OP processes.
• Ability to appreciate how changing production, distribution and procurement models as well as dynamics between value chain participants could impact supply chain trade-off decisions and drive adaptation of S&OP.
• Ability to interpret quantitative data and communicate results clearly and concisely
• Ability to interpret S&OP business requirements into information system requirements and to assess criticality of systems’ limitations to support such requirements
• Evident experience and skills in process facilitation and continuous improvement
• Familiar with other areas of supply chain management including logistics, procurement, cost management and production management
• Industry exposure in consumer goods manufacturing and distribution preferable
• Experience with major international consulting companies preferable
• A bachelor degree and relevant professional qualifications;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin;
