Job Description
Position: Regional Sales Manager
SUMMARY:
Implement company strategy, policy in certain area, lead sales team fulfil BU target. BU sales team building. Develop new customers, partners and maintain good relationship. Increase BU business continuously.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties include but not limited as the following:
Business development & execution:
Manager of own BU sales team and reach sales target in the area (order Intake, cost and EBIT).
Plan and execute sales strategy and policy decisions in own BU/China area.
Market analyze and competitor information collection. Know and manage the target industries, customers, channels in BU area.
Develop new customers and maintain good relationship with current customers.
Annual planning of bottom-up budget for BU business with sales director.
Ongoing (constant) pipeline review and coach/guide sales engineers.
Annual, quarterly, monthly sales forecast, planning.
Managerial duties:
BU sales team building: recruitment, coaching, evaluation, motivation and management.
Planning, forecasting ability of both short & long term on time.
Key customer management.
Manage employee development discussion.
Implement employee development plan.
Communication, cooperation with other departments, area and factories in other words execute good team work.
Independent logic decision making.
Regular team meetings, reporting and database management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of
knowledge, skill and /or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be

Requirements:
Entrepreneurial
University degree or above, engineer diploma, major in electrical engineering / automation control.
More than 8 years working experience (preferable but not a must) in AC drives application and sales, achievements of sales performance with proven record.
Short and long term planning capability, result oriented, leadership, entrepreneurial spirit.
Open mind, innovative, good communication, presentation, negotiation skills.
Industry and certain segment know how (in this area e.g mining, crane and/or metallurgy)
Motivator and knows how to influence people (working in a matrix is needed )
Good English skill, open communicator both domestic language and English
Reasoning abilities:
Ability to provide quick, efficient, flexible response both on daily work and urgent case. Ability to innovative problem solving independently. Ability to learn new knowledge quickly. Ability to implement, deliver VACON strategy, policy, culture, alue both inside and outside company.
